Menso Groeneveld was born in 1970 in Amsterdam. After his doctorandus in Econometrics in 1997 he decided that he wanted to create art.  He started studying at the Rietveld academy and graduated in 2003 in painting.
After that he combined practice in econometrics with being an artist.He exhibited in diverse places but he never was dependent of art.

At this moment Menso is trying to find ways to be an artist fulltime. To make art and cooperate in the artworld. This website is a step in that direction
